TAKE THIS ADVICE AND MAKE TWICE
I am going to give each of you one bit of free advice that is critical to a successful resolution of a personal injury claim. I advise you to have the following coverages on your automobile insurance policy:
1.) Medical Payment Coverage - $100,000 or as much as the company sells;
2.) Uninsured Motorist Coverage - at minimum, $100/$300,000
3.) Underinsured Motorist Coverage – at minimum, $100/$300,000
These three coverages are portable; to wit, they travel with you and your immediate family members in your vehicle, or any other vehicle you or your family member is riding in. These coverages are moneys that are paid to you in the event of your being injured in an accident. If you have these coverages, you are prepared to receive adequate, or in many cases, extremely high compensation for your injuries. You will thank me (and hopefully call me) for posting this advice in the event you are injured in an automobile accident.
In summary, for a small increase in your automobile insurance payment, you are now positioned to receive thousands of dollars in compensation that will potentially pay for your automobile insurance the rest of your life. Proper coverage is the only way I know to be assured of a successful resolution to a personal injury claim. Get the coverage!
